Tem

Tem is one of the Twins, divine siblings. While Tam represents light, Tem represents the dark aspect of this divine duality.

Religion and Church

Purple is holy to the Twins. The Church of Tem is more separate from the Church of Tam than it was historically, having developed into a more unified institution rather than a collection of squabbling monastic orders. Priests of the Twins are all male. In Purple, the Church receives a country-level draw that rotates between Tam, Tem, and sometimes Balance.

The head of the Church of Tem is known as the Guiding Star, who serves as High Priest. The Guiding Star is aware of significant events and persons of interest, and maintains agents to monitor them.

Divine Powers

Tem's miracles include:

• A "Hide Identity" effect, usable via amulets such as the one found on a dead assassin that concealed his half-orc appearance
• An "In The Shadows" effect, observed being used by a follower of the Guiding Star
• Protection from half-orc detection

Notable Presence

A priest of Tem named Alfonz attended the Orange delegation dinner at Middlesea. The advisor Vesper, known as the Silent One, serves as Priest of Tem at the Purple dinner at Middlesea.

Rakta, a long-suffering priest of Tem, has been assigned by the Guiding Star to observe the party. He has assisted the party on several occasions, including providing protection from half-orc detection during an assassination stakeout and granting party members enhanced Perception while asleep.
