• • Navere** is the First of the Five Gods and Queen of the Gods, the deity of rulers and governance.

Nature and Divine Authority

Navere holds supreme authority over the pantheon of the Five. She is served by a widespread ecclesiastical hierarchy, with Mother Jess serving as the senior priest based in King Richard's Lands in Red. Other notable priests include Violet, the High Priest in Berana, and Rafael, a priest in Orange with significant Church influence and approximately 7-10 DI.

The Church of Navere maintains temples throughout the known lands and coordinates with other divine institutions. Navere's priesthood focuses heavily on governance and interface between religious and secular authority, though some within the Church have expressed concerns about theological imbalances—particularly regarding the relative power of Rush in state affairs.

Navere has directly assisted Vidan and his companions on numerous occasions, including providing Witnessing miracles during critical battles and offering guidance through divination attempts—though sometimes refusing to answer questions she deems dangerous for mortals to know.
