Talinda

Talinda is a hawk-and-falcon seller who travels with the merchant caravan; though she works in the Merchant varna by marriage, she is actually of the Priest varna and serves the goddess of Love, using Feelings magic to train and influence her birds. She has been observed sneaking invisibly into other merchants' tents (notably Dalin Jaseer’s and Quartz’s) and into conversations (seen in a Lissa Terra diorama having tea with Fasanta), behavior that raised suspicions among party members like Nesh and Stella but has not been linked to any assassination plot; the group currently judges her activities more consistent with personal/romantic or Love-related meddling than outright treachery. Talinda performs poorly at mundane merchant tasks (famously getting crushed at Gale’s card game) and is socially better tied to priestly circles than to merchant trade, making her a quirky, potentially secretive figure at the heart of the caravan’s interpersonal intrigues.
