Alexa

Alexa is a Blue mage who lives near Southport. Her tower is constructed from warm ice and furnished entirely with ice; the structure is maintained by Blue spells rather than Artifacts, making it theoretically dispellable but extremely difficult to break.

Alexa specializes in Blue and Purple magic. She does not have expertise in Divine spells, which limits her understanding of certain phenomena like the time stop in Middlesea. She is skilled in post-cognition rituals and can provide protective enchantments such as air bubbles against amnesia mist.

Notable Events

Alexa conducted a complex ritual to observe the Middlesea battle while it was frozen in time. She recognized that an unknown Blue mage broke an army combat using Extra Effort by throwing Blue Magic without an actual Spell. The resulting effect created several battlemaps hooked together rather than a single battlemap. She identified cheating to prevent different factions from becoming separate army combat units.

She determined that the time stop is what most prevents a win for the Breaker and his Avatar. She earned battle support for the Admiralty through her investigation of these effects, though she considered further investigation unlikely to be worth additional battles.

Alexa consulted with Lisetera, a mage, regarding the interaction of magic and Divine Intervention in defending Middlesea. In exchange, she received a yellow favor and a precognition indicating her next major challenge as a mage is approximately two years away. She disclosed that a hole had already been punched in the Divine defenses protecting Middlesea, making magical investigation easier.
