The Cult of Al’an is significant because they secretly maintain and repair a powerful enchantment that draws its bearer into the [[Breaker]]’s plans. This spell, originally tied to [[Tirinian’s Mark]], had passed to [[Thistle]] by the time the party visited Rinyan in [[Rinyan Redux]]. The cult arranged for a ritual, with the help of the party and priests of the Goddess, to restore the fraying spell.
