** Not without a shtick.
* What's the latest segment I can start casting a purple spell and finish before the next action?
** 4 (it can go off in zero)
* If I start casting Purple lower than five, does the spell fail or get cast in the next action?
** It can get cast in the next action, but starts counting ticks again at your speed call, and takes your action from that round (if you have one).
