** Daniel's briefing:  Sending him is a bit of a provocation by Queen Iona vs Purple, as he has led many successful offensives into the Empire over the last 15 years.  He has also run many campaigns against the orcs, probably nobody has more experience against them.  Would be a valuable member of a campaign all by himself regardless of what else Queen Iona might send, but the Empire might just refuse to cooperate with him at all.

** Daniel's briefing:  Don't know much about her, she's not one of the more important children.  Her being here might mean King Olanson doesn't much care about the conference, or that she asked for the assignment as a way to raise her profile.
