==Ancient History== * There have been about 40 comets total (maybe 45 now). * Many comets ago, the Inland Sea is created when the mainland sinks. * Poisoning of the air causes Sauriens and slith to become "extinct"; Sauriens lose the ability to produce young, slith are driven under the sea to escape the poison. The Goddess and the Nameless provide a miracle giving some Sauriens incredibly long life, against the day they are able to have children again.
